Dave is a multi talented musician, author and film historian from Barnsley, in South Yorkshire.

His ‘STAIRFOOT RARNDABART’ song made over $4000 for the Barnsley Hospice and his musical comedy ‘The Old Club Trip’ raised $24.5000 In total he has totalled a staggering $89,000 for the Hospice with his songs and concerts.

He digitises cine films and is also a social historian.

He describes himself as ‘A jack of all trades—but master of none’

He was the ‘anchor man’ for the recent BBC’s ‘Barnsley Our Dancing Town’ and on this site you can see his contribution on film to the history of the town.
